Method & caveats

What "up and coming" means here

  • Roughly 4–18 years in practice, ideally with a super-speciality degree (DM / MCh / DrNB) or a recognised fellowship.
  • Runs their own clinic or consults at several small hospitals, so they aren't locked into one corporate chain.
  • Visible, growing patient base (review counts, recommendation %), and an online presence.
  • A few senior names are included and labelled Established where they are notable; they are lower priority.

Fit score (1–10)

A researcher's judgement combining: independence (no corporate lock-in), super-speciality depth, inpatient/surgical revenue they would bring to a 100-bed hospital with cath lab, OT, ICU, CT and dialysis, patient-review strength, and whether their skills fill a gap in SRV Nashik's current roster. Treat it as a ranking aid, not a verdict.

Inpatient revenue potential

High: surgical / procedural specialists who admit (cardiac interventions, joint replacement, neuro/spine surgery, urology, GI surgery, cancer surgery, NICU). Medium: physicians who admit regularly or drive day-care (nephrology/dialysis, pulmonology/ICU, gastro endoscopy, chemo). Low: mostly outpatient (dermatology, psychiatry, many endocrinologists).

Already linked to SRV

These were left out as already at SRV Nashik: Chetan Jain, Seema Naxane, Anand Parikh, Nitin Thakare, Pranav Mali, Gaurav Gujarathi, Rakesh Gosavi, Jugal Patel, Sandeep Rajebahadur, Harshal Chaudhari, Chandratej Kadam, Anuj Nehete, Amey Patil, Ajay Naxane, Anand Saraf, V. B. Nampalle, Kunal Desai, Madhura Rajebahadur. Directories also list Vijaysinh Patil, Prasad Andhare (cardiology), Pranav Kulkarni (ortho), Ambarish Chatterjee (surgical oncology) and Sonal Dhande (medical oncology) at SRV — they were excluded too. Prospects marked SRV link have some existing or past association; confirm internally before outreach.

Known gaps in the data

  • Google ratings are mostly blank. They couldn't be collected reliably at this scale; each profile has a one-click "Google Maps" search link to check them.
  • Experience years vary between portals. Practo often counts from MBBS. Where sources conflicted, the years since specialist degree were preferred and the range is noted under watch-outs.
  • Phone numbers are only public clinic/hospital numbers from directories or the doctor's own site; many are blank.
  • Thin markets. Nashik has very few independent vascular, bariatric, rheumatology, paediatric-surgery and spine specialists, so those departments have shorter lists; some visiting specialists from Pune/Mumbai are included.
  • Some entries are thinly sourced — check the watch-outs line and the source links before reaching out.
